FAQ

What is Osteopathy?

It's a system of treating the body as a whole, comprehensive self-healing unit.

How do I know I won't get hurt?

Manual Osteopathy is one of the most gentle treatment types out there. Not to mention you can modify or stop your session at any time. Feel free to speak up so we can find a way to get you healthy AND happy with the process.

You're so young compared to practitioners, why choose you over someone else?

I take safety very seriously. Previously as a swim instructor and Personal Trainer, I've taught groups of rowdy kids & clients one-on-one safely. Additionally, I'm also CPR C and First Aid trained and I've been meticulously taught about treatment by many other healthcare practitioners including my type-A mother.

Why did you go into Manual Osteopathy?

I fell in love with working out at the beginning of COVID and the mental and physical health benefits it brings. To me, a big benefit of bettering your health is to be injury free and live your life as active as you want to. As a manual osteopath I get to help people in that way by bettering their mental & physical health directly.

Is my appointment private?

Everything from your online forms to my treatment notes are private. For more information, see our privacy policy.

Will my insurance cover the treatment?

Coverage for Manual Osteopathy depends on whether your specific plan accepts my Osteopathy Association, ACMA. It is your responsibility to check with your insurance provider regarding your coverage.

Is the treatment with clothes or without?

Your treatment plan may include some assisted stretching, active massage techniques, and/or exercises. To facilitate this, it's recommended that you wear something comfortable to move in.

When should I arrive?

Please arrive for your appointment 5 minutes early and have a seat at the front.

What if I need to cancel?

Understandable, you are able to cancel online through the booking system. However, if you cancel within 24-hours, our cancellation policy will apply.
